Ricke Stucker
Career Highlights
Ricke Stucker is a Kokomo High School graduate and the longtime distance coach for the Wildkats. Stucker ran cross country and track for Kokomo from 1963-1965 and cross country for Indiana University from 1965-1969.
Following college, Stucker returned to Kokomo and became one of the most respected long-distance coaches in the state. He started his coaching career at Kokomo in 1969, spending decades leading male and female student-athletes in cross country and track. Under his guidance, the Wildkats have had 28 individual state finalists, 20 team sectional championships and 39 team semi-state qualifiers.
In addition, his expertise has allowed him to serve as the clerk of the course for the prestigious Kokomo Relays and dozens of IHSAA sectional and regional events at Walter Cross Field.
Stucker is also founder and director of the Kokomo Summer Distance Camp and an original member of both Club Kokomo and the Club Kokomo Roadrunners. He was inducted into the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches Hall of Fame in 2018.
