Career Highlights

One of the best shooters in Howard County history, Audrey McDonald-Spencer starred on the hardwood in both prep and collegiate play.

While at Kokomo High School, McDonald-Spencer was a four-year varsity letter winner and, as a freshman, was a member of the 2003, 4A State Champion Lady Wildkats basketball team. In her time as a Lady Kat, McDonald-Spencer finished with numerous top-five shooting, scoring, and passing records while helping lead her teams to an 87-14 overall mark. Upon the completion of her senior season, McDonald-Spencer was named a 2006 Indiana All-Star.

Additionally, McDonald-Spencer played four year of varsity volleyball for Kokomo and set career records for aces, good serves, serves received, and digs.

McDonald-Spencer went on to become a 4-year starter for the Ball State University women’s basketball team. During her junior year, McDonald-Spencer was a key member of the most successful BSU team to date, as the Cardinals won the MAC Championship, the MAC Tournament title, and earned the school’s first ever berth in the NCAA Tournament, knocking off Tennessee in the opening round. She finished her Cardinal career in the top 10 on the school’s all-time scoring list, first in minutes played, and set the MAC career 3-point field goal record. McDonald-Spencer is now in her 7th season as an assistant coach for the BSU women’s basketball team.
