Career Highlights

A 1996 Indiana All-Star, Lee Coomler carried his Kokomo High School success to Morehead State and Olivet Nazarene College. He scored a combined 2,186 collegiate points between the two programs. At Kokomo, he totaled 951 career points and, as a senior, averaged 22 per game with a career-best 38 against Gary Wallace. He led the team in steals that year and paced KHS in free-throw percentage as a junior and senior. For his high school career, he averaged 14.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 steals. He shot 44.0% from the field, 34.3% from three, and 84.1% at the line.As a Morehead State freshman, he averaged 10.1 points before transferring to Olivet Nazarene, where he scored 1,913 points (ninth all-time) and made 219 threes (fourth). In three seasons, Olivet won 86 games, captured three CCAC championships, and reached three NAIA tournaments, including its first Final Four in 2000. He earned NAIA Second-Team All-American honors. He was CCAC First Team in 1998 and 1999, the 2000 CCAC Player of the Year, and entered the Olivet Nazarene Hall of Fame in 2009. Coomler lives in Fort Myers, Florida, and serves as President of Stonecrest Group – Raymond James.
